Pandemic

Pandemic is a great cooperative game because everyone is on the same team.  Each player is fighting a common enemy – the Pandemic diseases – and must work together before the whole world goes extinct.

Carcassonne

Carcassonne never gets old, because every time you play, you are creating a new board.  Expansion packs available to further create new opportunities for strategy.

How to Rob a Bank

I know, I know.  What are we teaching our kids?  But seriously, this is a fun little game that can be played with as little as 2 people.  Teamwork and strategy play heavily into this game that is easy to learn.

Apples to Apples

Word games are always a lot of fun, but the best thing about Apples to Apples is that you don’t actually need to be a linguistic genius to win!  This game levels the playing field between tweens on different levels of language ability.

Ticket to Ride

Ticket to Ride has several reincarnations now, where you can travel 1912 Europe, the Nordic countries, India, or Africa!  But this is the original classic game that many ages can enjoy.

Risk

A classic game has gotten a face-lift with this newest version.  I remember playing this game for hours as a kid with my sister!  Now my boys get lost in their conquest to conquer the world.
