Brain Blox Wooden Building Planks REVIEW

As soon as we opened the box of Brain Blox Wooden Building Planks from Brain Blox, I could tell this was one awesome “out of the box” product!

What are Brain Blox Wooden Building Planks?

We received 200 New Zealand pine building blocks with a convenient carrying bag. The set also came with building ideas. The Brain Blox website includes additional brain builds and even videos for your kids to watch for some inspiration on what they could build next.

The kids in my house from age 6 all the up through the teenagers loved the challenge of building taller and more complex structures with these planks.

How You Can Use Them

These planks are perfect for open-ended play and learning.

  • fine motor skills
  • spatial reasoning
  • linear thinking
  • hand-eye coordination

If you’re looking for educational and fun activities for your kids to do instead of always relying on screen time, then these planks are a great choice!

They’re a great option to have in the house for those wintery days when you can’t head outside to play. Put on an audio book and let your kids have at it with these planks.

There are free resources on their website, including printable build idea cards and ebook, brain puzzles, and build ideas videos. And an exciting component is their free curriculum and educational materials.

Toys for Happy Brains tagline is exactly right.
