Homeschool families are always on the lookout for companies that provide high quality resources. I was surprised to learn that Library and Educational Services LLC carries products at wholesale pricing, and gives homeschools the same discount. We enjoyed checking out Who Was Laura Ingalls Wilder? from the Who Was . . . series, The Lifehouse Theater CD The Princess and the Pigs, and several Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books.
About Library and Educational Services LLC
Library and Educational Services LLC offers books, CDs, and DVDs at wholesale pricing, which is 30-70% off the publisher’s list pricing. And they offer this special pricing to homeschool families!
They have many hundreds of resources available at this discounted pricing, including the three categories we were able to check out.
Who Was . . . series
Every family with an elementary student knows how wonderful the Who Was . . . series of books is!
My kids have read them for years, and they’re a great introduction to fascinating people of the past. From learning about Presidents, to sports heroes, to explorers and scientists, there’s sure to be a Who Was . . . title for every kid in your home.
P.S. These books make great stocking stuffers!
So we decided to read the Who Was Laura Ingalls Wilder? title because my daughter has been getting into the Little House on the Prairie books. Using this title was a good way to expand her background knowledge of the Little House books.
These books are paperback and wonderfully formatted to make them easy to read by young students. These books are illustrated as well.
The Lifehouse Theater CD
Once again, we chose a CD from The Lifehouse Theater for my five-year-old daughter to enjoy. She listened to The Princess and the Pigs and enjoyed the story of a selfish princess who learned a lesson the hard way. It is specified for ages 8 and up, but my almost 6-year-old was able to follow the dramatization.
Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction Books
Library and Educational Services LLC carries about 300 Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction Books that are at paperback pricing! I was blown away by the deep discounts of the books on their site.
We chose to review sets of books about WWII. One set was for the middle school level, and the other was for older teens.
The quality of these hardcover books is amazing and these books will be a great addition to our study of WWII this fall.
Other Resources
Library and Educational Services LLC also has a homeschool category on their site, and with just a quick look through some titles, I found resources including:
- Introduction to Logic
- Biblical Greek Curriculum
- Worldview Resources
- Survey of Science History
- History of Religious Liberty Curriculum
- Writing Strands
- Math Lessons for a Living Education
- and much, much more including curriculum for math, science, history, and apologetics!
I really had no idea that Library and Educational Services LLC provided all these homeschool resources and curriculum at wholesale prices. So, if you’re looking to fill in some gaps for this school year, then definitely check out what they have to offer.
If you’re looking for additional ways to save money on your homeschool resources, then you’ll want to check out the On Sale category of the Library and Educational Services LLC site. You’ll find books and other resources discounted even further than their normally low prices!
Right now, there are many Who Was. . . books for only $2.89!
But don’t just take my word for it! Check out the other reviews from the Homeschool Review Crew by clicking below.
