Jesus’ Resurrection | Activities for Kids

Enjoy this guest post from my friend, Danika Cooley, from Thinking Kids Press.

Teach kids about Jesus’ Resurrection with these fun activities for kids. Children will learn about eternal life in Jesus!

We often think of the Resurrection as a single, one-time, miraculous event. Yet, Scripture tells us another story about the Resurrection. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul wrote many important facts about the Resurrection, including:
  • Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day.
  • Then, the Risen Jesus appeared to more than five hundred men at one time!
  • There were many witnesses to the Resurrection. Most were still alive to testify about it when Paul wrote his letter.
  • Jesus is the firstfruits of the Resurrection.
  • One day, Jesus will return and those who believe in him will follow him in resurrection.
  • Death will be destroyed.
  • We will receive imperishable, spiritual bodies at the last trumpet.
When our kids understand the truth of the Resurrection of Jesus, and of the future resurrection of the saints, it answers a lot of questions and helps them grow their faith. We can teach our kids about Jesus’ Resurrection through story and fun activities!
