About Bible Investigators: Creation

Check out these new resource to help your kids learn about the doctrine of Creation in a hands-on way.

Bible Investigators: Creation from The Good Book Company is a joint project from Danika Cooley and The Good Book Company. The Bible study is 272-pages of learning, puzzles, and fun activities designed to help your kids become amazing independent Bible investigators–observing, interpreting, and applying God’s Word as they learn what the Bible teaches on a particular subject.

The Good Book Company

Bible Investigators: Creation is divided into 6 sections or units, with 4-6 lessons in each section. That means with 30 lessons, you can use this resource in about 6-9 weeks, or you can stretch it out to cover almost the entire school year by taking more time on each lesson.

Here are the 6 units:

  • God Created Everything in the Beginning
  • The Story of Creation
  • God Made Me
  • Our Creator God
  • God’s Good Creation Gifts
  • God’s Great Salvation Plan

Each lesson includes some teaching, My Investigator Notebook (observe, interpret, and apply), and then several puzzles. Kids can work on this independently as their main Bible curriculum or as a fun supplemental resource.

  • how the book is structured
  • how the 3 steps of observing, interpreting, and applying God’s Word are woven into these lessons
  • what is the best way to teach kids how to engage with God’s Word
  • why puzzles work well for 8-12 year olds
